Tascott Retaining Wall

Cappa Construction & Maintenance was engaged as a contractor to install a 40-metre post-and-panel retaining wall within the live Sydney Trains rail corridor.

Our responsibilities included: Supervising an excavator to auger post holes to 1.7m depth. Installing galvanised steel posts (2.2m above finished ground) and precast concrete panels. Installing an Agline behind the wall for subsoil drainage. Backfilling and compacting with suitable material. Reinstating the site to meet rail authority requirements.
