Hawkesbury River Rail Bridge

Cappa were engaged by Rhomberg Sersa to assist with the walkway installation project on the Hawkesbury River Rail Bridge. The walkway stretches all eight spans of the bridge and involves using a mobile gantry crane to lift the walkway modules and legs from boats in the water below to the brideg itself. Cappa assisted Rhomberg with the:

  • Install of new modules and legs for the walkway
  • The replacement and installation of new refuges
  • Abrasive blasting and coatings work on the bridge
  • Assisting with rail possessions on the bridge
  • Cappa also provided three Coxswain NC-3 Operators
  • Cappa provided two boats to assist with works from the water
